Matt Vince, LMT | Brannick Clinic of Natural MedicineIntroduction

I am a licensed massage therapist with 600-hours of massage education. I was an avid skateboarder. After years of skateboarding injuries and coming to Brannick Clinic of Natural Medicine for relief, I realized how amazing the human body is at healing— given the right environment. Over the years, I developed several injuries and used massage therapy to regain function and stability to continue skating. I gradually became interested in yoga and natural ways of living and became intuitive about my body. I enjoy helping others to gain function and decrease pain with a hands-on approach. Teaching others about their body is inspirational to me because it is rewarding to see people make positive approaches with health. I am ambitious to learn and passionate about helping people achieve their goals and improve their health through bodywork.

Specialty/Focus

I have professional interests in cupping, Thai, prenatal, Swedish, and therapeutic massage. I also teach and demonstrate proper body mechanics, home exercises and stretching techniques.

Personal Background

I grew up in Cicero IL and then moved to North Riverside where I graduated from Riverside Brookfield high school in 2013 and went to a year of college at Triton but quickly realized the traditional “go to college for 4 years and get a job,” was not for me. I had a bigger purpose in life and knew I wanted to help others. When I started going to the Brannick Clinic, I knew there was another door waiting to be opened.

Besides helping people, I have a passion for animals which started early in life. I grew up with birds, dogs, cats, ferrets, and a chinchilla. Being around and caring for animals taught me responsibility. I started skateboarding at the age of 11 and put in many hours of arduous work to become competent. Learning to be disciplined helped me achieve in areas of life that require consistency, hard work, and dedication. I am committed to lifelong learning.

Graduate of Riverside Brookfield High School 2013, Attended Triton college 2013-2014. Graduate of New School of Massage 2022. Completed additional massage training in cupping and prenatal massage.
