Non-Laser Tattoo Removal

Non-Laser Tattoo Removal - Brannick Clinic of Natural MedicineThere’s a new, safer, more effective and less painful way of removing tattoos.

Tattoo ink is toxic and laser removal pushes this ink into the body. It therefore deposits this toxic ink into the body—with the hope that is will eventually be excreted. The duration of the excreted ink is unknown and questionable. Also. laser treatments do not remove all colors at once—several treatments are needed—especially to remove a multicolored tattoo.

A improved method of removal or tattoo removal is an extrusion process. It’s much like a reverse tattoo, where the tattoo ink is drawn back out of the skin. This protects the body from toxic ink and all colors are simultaneously removed. The process involves exfoliating the skin to expose the ink and then a serum is applied to bind to the ink. It takes an average of 3 to 6 treatments to fully remove a tattoo and the skin returns to the same skin as before the tattoo was applied. There is no scarring with this process. The procedure is virtually painless, however there may be some irritation or pain afterwards as the skin is healing. This minor pain can be resolved with aspirin or a more natural approach, like arnica, a homeopathic.

The procedure is performed by or supervised by physicians who are trained and certified in this type of tattoo removal.

The treatments are 6 weeks apart to allow the skin to fully heal between procedures.

The after-care is just as important as the procedure itself. This area needs to be kept dry to allow a scab to form, which is part of the ink removal process.
