Dr. Rodriguez earned a doctorate in naturopathic medicine and a Master of Science degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from Bastyr University in 2019. Her clinical focus is gastroenterology, women’s health and primary care. During her time at Bastyr, she rotated at Odessa Brown Clinic, Seattle Children’s Hospital and Seattle Breastfeeding Medicine where she gained additional experience working with pediatric patients. Dr. Rodriguez has also had elective training in craniosacral therapy and visceral manipulation. Prior to Bastyr, she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Davidson College, where she was a pre-med, theatre major. Dr. Rodriguez is also a registered yoga teacher and has completed a 200-hour teacher training at Maui Yoga Shala in Paia, Maui.
Dr. Rodriguez is passionate about finding the root cause of illness and treating each person as the unique individual they are. Her interests include gastrointestinal disorders, endocrine disorders, chronic illness, sports medicine, chronic pain, women’s health and adolescent care. She believes all systems in the body are connected and she utilizes this idea to help restore balance in those who seek her care. As a former athlete, she is passionate about helping athletes take power over their own health and to understand the unique ways in which they can maximize their performance, rest and recovery. She utilizes acupuncture, craniosacral and visceral manipulation as integral parts to most treatment plans. She believes it is important to restore the connection between body, mind and spirit.
Dr. Rodriguez cares deeply about health equity and improving access to naturopathic medicine and acupuncture to those in underserved communities. She believes naturopathic medicine and acupuncture should not be restricted to only those who can afford to pay. She is an active member of the American Association for Naturopathic Physicians and has traveled to Washington D.C. to lobby for naturopathic medicine.
Dr. Rodriguez is an avid trail runner, yogi and nature explorer. In addition to exploring the outdoors, Dr. Rodriguez is passionate about the arts. She believes live arts are a powerful way to explore the human experience and make positive changes in our communities.
